PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent protecting material and protecting article such as a blade-protecting wear, leggings, an arm cover, etc., which satisfies protectability, particularly good movability, blade-protectability, and flexibility, namely three wearing characteristics. PSOLUTION: The protecting material comprises a plural laminate of knits of synthetic fiber, wherein a knitted twill fabric of a metal rope made of a metal line and a synthetic fiber is inserted in an intermittent side of the layer.
