PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact piezoelectric oscillating piece for acquiring stable oscillating characteristics, a method for manufacturing the piezoelectric oscillating piece, a piezoelectric oscillator and electronic equipment mounted with the piezoelectric oscillator.;SOLUTION: A piezoelectric oscillating piece 100 is provided with a plurality of bar-shaped arm parts 121, a base part 130 to which one end of each of the arm parts 121 is connected, oscillating arms 120 where weight parts 110 wider than the arm parts 121 are formed at the other ends of the arm parts 121 and groove parts 122 formed on the surface and back faces along an oscillation center B of the oscillating parts 120.
