PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric ceramic composition which does not contain a harmful substance of lead (Pb), and the electromechanical coupling coefficient of which is larger than that of a bismuth layered compound, and a piezoelectric ceramic element using it. PSOLUTION: The piezoelectric ceramic composition comprises a composition represented by general formula: (AgSB1-x/SBLiSBx/SB)NbOSB3/SBcharacterized by 0.075≤x0.40 as a main component, and contains at least one of Mn oxides and Si oxides as an accessory component.
