PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food and drink (health food), a pharmaceutical, an arteriosclerosis preventing agent and an agent for suppressing oxidative denaturation of LDL capable of effectively suppressing the oxidative denaturation of LDL (low-density lipoprotein) in blood.;SOLUTION: The food and drink, pharmaceutical, arteriosclerosis preventing agent and agent for suppressing oxidative denaturation of LDL contain a flavonoid aglycone derived from lemon as an active component. Examples of the flavonoid aglycone are eriodictyol and diosmetin. These flavonoid aglycones can be produced by converting flavonoid glycosides derived from lemon into aglycone.
