PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polysulfone-based hollow fiber membrane having high safety and performance stability, having superior module assembling performance, used for the treatment for the chronic renal failure, having high permeability and suited for use in the blood purification apparatus.;SOLUTION: This polysulfone-based permselective hollow fiber membrane mainly composed of polysulfone-based resin and hydrophilic polymer simultaneously satisfies that (a) the content of the hydrophilic polymer of the foremost layer of the surface of the blood contact side is 1.1 times or more of the content of the hydrophilic polymer on the adjacent layer of the surface of the blood contact side, (b) the content of the hydrophilic polymer of the foremost layer of the opposite surface of the blood contact side is 1.1 times or more of the content of the hydrophilic polymer on the foremost layer of the surface of the blood contact side and (c), when heparin added whole human blood is perfused to the blood side of a blood purification module of the film area of 1.5 m² at the flow rate of 150 mL/min, a platelet retention 60 minutes later is not less than 70% and not more than 98%.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
