PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for steering or directing an RF-beam transmission by utilizing a photonic crystal structure, for example a prism. PSOLUTION: The apparatus for steering an radio-frequency (RF) beam is equipped with a platform; a first and a second prisms mounted on the platform; a controller capable of steering the continuously transmitted RF beam via the first and the second prisms by rotating the first and second prisms; and a correction device constituted to correct the movement of the platform, by further rotating the first and the second prisms in response to the movement of the platform.
