PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing an isocyanate compound by which the isocyanate compound can be produced at a high pyrolysis rate and in a high yield with a high selectivity.;SOLUTION: A carbamate compound is pyrolyzed in the presence of at least one kind of solid catalyst selected from the group consisting of a silicate, silica gel and a metal element and a tin catalyst.
