OIL DETERIORATION DETECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil deterioration detector that more properly judges oil deterioration, and a mechanical system having a rotary or slide part equipped with the oil deterioration detector.;SOLUTION: Two polar plates 21 and 22 are arranged to an oil flow channel 11 in a mutually parallel state and a current flowing when AC voltage is applied across two polar plates 21 and 22 is measured by an ammeter 24. The voltage produced across the polar plates 21 and 22 is measured by voltmeter 25 in a signal processing part (processing means) 31 and the conductivity and dielectric constant of oil 10 are calculated on the basis of the measuring results due to the ammeter 24 and the voltmeter 25. The deterioration of the oil 10 is judged on the basis of the conductivity and the dielectric constant.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
