The hinged lid container comprises a box part (4) and a lid part (6) pivotally connected to the box part (4). The box-shaped part (4) comprises an integral first panel (38, 38 ') connected to the rest of the container via a first hinge line (28, 28') and an integral second panel (44, 44 '). The first panel (38, 38 ') in the initial position forms at least part of the wall (20, 10) of the box part (4), and the second panel (44, 44') in the initial position lies under the first panel (38, 38 ') . The first panel (38, 38 ') in the initial position is bounded in the wall (10, 20) of the box part (4) by at least one weakened line (40, 40'; 41, 41 ') and is able to bend along the first hinge line (28 , 28 ') from the initial position to the second position in which it is turned outward from the rest of the container. The second panel (44, 44 ') is preferably connected to the rest of the container via a second hinge line (46, 46'), in which it is able to bend from its initial position to a second position in which it is turned outward from the rest of the container.
