The present invention relates to a method for the effective reactive dissolution of siloxane using mixed solvent system. More particularly, the present invention relates to a method where effective reactive dissolution of high molecular weight siloxane, filler containing siloxane, silicone rubber, fluids, gums and elastomer in binary solvent system such as aliphatic non polar and aromatic non polar solvents. The combination of aliphatic and aromatic solvents enhances the dissolution of siloxane which helps for further processing and applications of product.
