A method for the production of hollow grinding bodies for the comminution of grinding stock, comprising the steps of providing a casting mold with a cavity arranging a casting core in the cavity, so that a shell-like interspace for casting material is obtained, introducing holding elements casting core for holding the casting core, placing a casing onto the holding elements, pouring of the casting material into the interspace, characterized by, using at least in the region of the interspace a metallic material for the casing which fuses with the casting material.
