The present invention pertains to the field of medical equipment. Mainly refers to gyneco-obstetrics medical equipment and more particularly to a delivery bed or table. The present invention is advantageous over the state-of-the-art beds since the inventive bed allows the maximum of attention activities to be provided to the patient with a minimum of displacement, also removing risky situations for the patient to a great extent; the contact of the surface with the patient¿s body is such that allows the patient to be tense along the delivery process, thus avoiding non physiological or unnatural positions as well as complications such as the Supine Hypotensive Syndrome or the Poseiro Effect. The bed is structurally characterised in that the mattress support is divided into four segments of different size, which are located from the head to the feet portions as follows: a head segment (3), the upper portion of a trapezoidal support (2) placed along a longitudinal axis, a substantially fl at and rigid segment (4) an a feet segment (5), said segments being attached therebetween by the adjacent end portions thereof, thereby the same may be pivoted over transversal axis, wherein the attaching means between the feet portion and the substantially flat and rigid segment may be attached and released in a quick manner.
