The fastener has a bracket (3) whose horizontal wing (4) is held among a foot (5) and springs (2). A vertical wing (6) of the bracket is equipped with a console (7) whose higher wall (8) is shifted parallelly to the vertical wing such that vertical wall of the headboard or footboard is inserted in a space formed between the vertical wing and the shifted higher wall. A lower vertical wall of the console is fixed against the vertical wing of the bracket. The vertical wing comprises an oblong hole (10), which allows height adjustment of the console.
