摘要

A method for indicating the pollution of the environment technologically transformed by heavy metals usingplants includes analysis of the vegetable material of test-indicators by means of a light microscope, an object micrometer, a screw ocular micrometer, devices "Spectroscan" and "Saturn-3" and, according to the recording data and statistical treatment, definition of presence of the elevated concentration of heavy metals in the areas under study. For express assessment of the degree of toxic load on natural systems in the conditions of the effect of emissions from industrial enterprises different species ofplants are used as the test-indicators and the heavy metal content is determined in gametophytes ofplants and accumulation coefficient is calculated according to two species of the same genus simultaneously as an index of the level of accumulation of heavy metals. It allows comparing the species according to ability thereof to accumulation of nutrients in the conditions of the environment pollution.
