METHOD FOR PREOPERATIVE PREPARATION OF PATIENTS WITH THYROTOXICOSIS

A method for preoperative preparation of the patients with thyrotoxicosis comprises the use of thyrostatics, the hormones of adrenals, the cardiac glycosides, and adrenoblockers. Furthermore, the following drugs are used: Polysorb 50-100 mg thrice a day, Novo-Passit 1 teaspoon thrice a day, and Somnol 1 tablets before the sleep. The duration of the treatment course is 2-3 weeks. Polyoxidonium is taken as immunomodulator for 7-10 days.
