TECHNIQUE OF ANASTOMOSIS IN RESECTING SMALL INTESTINE IN ITS PROXIMAL DIVISIONS

A technique of anastomosis in resecting the small intestine in its proximal divisions provides for the resection of the non-viable segment of the small intestine and the formation of anastomosis. The proximal end is exteriorized as the stoma into the anterior abdominal wall. Distally, the intestinal side-to-end anastomosis is applied and T-shaped drainage is inserted into the intestine proximally and distally in the course of anastomosis formation. The free end of anastomosis is passed via the proximal intestinal stoma for the postoperative decompression of the anastomosis area. Ozonotherapy and enteral feeding are applied upon the recovery of peristalsis.
