TECHNIQUE FOR RESECTING SMALL INTESTINE IN CASE OF ILEUS

The technique for resecting small intestine in the case of ileus comprises the mobilization of the affected region of the small intestine, the dissection of distal and proximal ends of this region, the removal of the resected region, the emptying of the content of the proximal end of intestine. Finally, the intestinal anastomosis is applied. Upon the dissection of the distal end of the affected region of the small intestine, this region is taken out of the operational field at the distance equaling the length of its mobilization. Upon emptying the content of the proximal end of intestine, the proximal end of the affected region is dissected and the resected region is removed.
