The present invention relates to compositions of virus-like particles for theintroduction ofRNA-interference (RNAi-) inducing molecules into eukaryotic cells and methodsfor the celltype-specific transduction of a plurality of eukaryotic cells with RNAi-inducing molecules. Thepresent invention furthermore relates to methods for a diagnosis, preventionand/or treatment ofdiseases or disease states associated with an increased expression rate of atleast one endogenousgene, and/or with the undesired expression of at least one endogenous geneand/or foreignnucleic acids, in particular viral nucleic acids.
