An electronic dictionary performs a search based not only on an index word in dictionary data but also on a keyword related to image data. The electronic dictionary first searches for the keyword, extracts an image ID related to the keyword of a search result, extracts an index word related to the extracted image ID by the dictionary data, and then presents the index word.
