The present invention relates to transgenic non-human animals comprising a broad/complete or tissue specific deletion of the cytochrome b5 enzyme. The invention also includes methods of producing the non-human transgenic animal models and uses of the animal models in infertility, skin changes, nurturing phenotype, ichthyosis, steatosis and methaemoglobinaemia, methods of screening candidate therapeutics, methods of investigating metabolic processes and crosses into other animal models.
