A system device including a host device; a peripheral device; and the interface circuit. A data interface method for performing data transfer between a host device and a peripheral device, including accessing the peripheral device to determine a transfer mode of the peripheral device; and determining a mode of data transfer between the host device and the peripheral device according to the transfer mode of the peripheral device.
