SPACER GRID WITH PROTRUDING STRAP TO INSERT INTO THE FLOW HOLE FOR THE DEBRIS FILTERING

A spacer grid capable of filtering foreign material flowing through flow hole is provided to minimize pressure drop due to cooling water by increasing size of a flow hole. A spacer grid comprises a strip(2), a dimple(24), and an arch(23). A slot is formed in the strip. The strip partitions a plurality of grid cells. A cut-out part is formed from a bottom center of a grid surface of the grid cell toward a top. Two pair of dimples are formed on a top of the grid surface. The dimple supports a lower end cap(14) of a nuclear fuel rod. The arch is protruded in a right and a left of a cut-out surface of the grid surface, and partitions a space of a flow hole(12). A diameter of a foreign material passing the flow hole is minimized.
