METHOD FOR SELECTIVE SEPARATION OF XYLENE ISOMER BY USING SELECTIVE INCLUSION OF GUANIDINIUM 4-BROMOBENZENE SULFONATE

A method for selectively separating xylene isomer is provided to separate and purify xylene isomer of high purity by using guanidinium 4-bromobenzene sulfonate showing different affinity according to a xylene isomer. A method for selectively separating xylene isomer comprises a step of separating xylene isomer having different affinity with guanidinium 4-bromobenzene sulfonate by mixing guanidinium 4-bromobenzene sulfonate with a mixture of xylene isomers. The mixture of xylene isomer is selected from the group consisting of a mixture of ortho-xylene and meta-xylene, a mixture of meta-xylene and para-xylene, a mixture of ortho-xylene and para-xylene, or a mixture of ortho-xylene, meta-xylene and para-xylene.
