An oligonucleotide for detecting Bacillus cereus is provided to accurately amplify a Bacillus cereus-specific gene and quickly perform quantitative detection of Bacillus cereus infection. An oligonucleotide for detecting Bacillus cereus comprises primers of the sequence number 1 and 2. An oligonucleotide set further comprises a probe oligonucleotide of the sequence number 3. A method for detecting Bacillus cereus comprises: a step of smearing a subject sample to be detected on medium for detecting Bacillus cereus; a step of culturing the sample on the medium and counting the number of colony; a step of isolating DNA of microorganism from the colony; and a step of performing PCR using the isolated DNA and the oligonucleotide set for detecting Bacillus cereus.
