PURPOSE: A grinding device is provided to recognize zero position by detecting instant voltage or current when a work piece and a grind wheel make contact and perform automatic grinding through the set program.;CONSTITUTION: A grinding device includes a work piece fixing part(30), a grind wheel driving part(40), a contact detector(50), and a controller(60). A work piece(10) is fixed to one end of the work piece fixing part. The grind wheel driving part is connected with a conductive grind wheel(20) of disk shape. The conductive grind wheel rotates around an axis to grind the work piece fixed to the work piece fixing part. The contact detector senses the voltage or current generated in contact between the work piece and the conductive grind wheel. The controller recognizes the first touch as zero position of grinding work according to the current or voltage value sensed in the contact detector, and drives the grind wheel driving part based on the set program to perform grinding.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
