PURPOSE: A linear piercing press is provided to reduce noise of piercing work due to vertical motion of urethane plate.;CONSTITUTION: A linear piercing press(100) comprises a lower die(110), an upper die(120), an upper die pad(130), a pressing plate(140), and a piercing device(200). The lower die supports a product. The upper die elevates. The upper die pad fastens the product of the lower die by interlocking with the upper die. The upper pressing plate moves up and down by interlocking with the upper die. The piercing device is installed in the lower die. The piercing device is contacted with the upper pressing plate depending on the elevation of the upper pressing plate. The piercing device converts up and down motion of the upper pressing plate into rectilinear motion due to a rotation.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
