DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CORRECTING ERRORS OF COLLOQUIAL TYPE SENTENCE

A device and a method for correcting errors of colloquial type sentences are provided to effectively recognize and correct various errors of the colloquial type sentences in a communication environment, thereby improving a colloquial type sentence analysis technique and a natural language processing technique. An input unit(110) produces input data corresponding to an original message which a user inputs. A colloquial type sentence correcting unit(150) determines whether a colloquial type character string is included in the input data generated according to user manipulation and extracts the colloquial type character string to be corrected from the input data. The colloquial type sentence correcting unit corrects colloquial type sentences about the extracted colloquial type character string and generates the corrected colloquial type character string. A correction data returning unit(160) receives the colloquial type character string corrected from the colloquial type sentence correcting unit and reflects the received colloquial type character string to the input data to return the corrected input data.
