PURPOSE: A typing error correcting method is provided to improve convenience for foreigners while inputting foreign languages with a qwerty keyboard.;CONSTITUTION: The location of a character is obtained by selecting the location of cursor within a character input window. A character which is arranged on one or more locations of a character button in a keyboard in which the obtained character is assigned is obtained. One of the obtained characters is assigned on one of the control buttons. When the one of the control buttons is selected, the character assigned to the selected control button is obtained.
