Glass fiber having heat-resistant and method for preparing the same

A glass fiber and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to secure heat resistance without the harmfulness to human bodies, thereby being used at the maximum temperature of 1000°C. A glass fiber with excellent heat resistance is coated with a heat resistant material, which is composed of: 15-35wt% of alumina sol containing 1-30wt% of solid content; 20-50wt% of sulfuric acid alumina aqueous solution containing 1-10wt% of solid content; 10-30wt% of water-soluble vinyl acetate resin containing 10-60wt% of solid content; and water. The heat resistant material additionally contains 0.01-0.1wt% of pigment which consists of black component and white component in a ratio of 1 to 1 by weight.
