A method for generating a perfusion image with an mri - system, comprising the steps of:(a) repeated application of an rf - marker pulse with the mri - system to spins in a marker disk, from which the spins in an image disk flow, wherein the angle of tilt of the rf - marker pulse in accordance with a marking pattern by means of a modulation period of time duration is modulated;(b) detecting a series of time - mr - image data sets by performing image generation of pulse sequences with the mri - the system over a period of time, which contains the modulation time duration;(c) reconstructing a corresponding set of time course of images with voxel vectors from the image data sets, which vectors the variations of the nmr - signal into corresponding image disks voxels in the course of the detection time interval displays;(d) determining a perfusion by means of identification of voxels vectors with variations of the nmr - signal, which correspond to the marker pattern; and(e) generating a perfusion image, in which a perfusion is indicated in the identified voxels.
