The device has a carrier pipe (4) arranged between a front driving part (11) and a rear driving part (12). The carrier pipe has a through hole and a guiding device (7) for inserting a sealing unit into a sub-channel (20). The sealing unit is carried by a sliding tube (19). The guiding device is attached to the through hole. The carrier pipe has a set of sealing units (3), which acts against an inner wall of a main channel (2). A carrier pipe (10) carrying the sealing units is supported at the driving parts by a pivot bearing and the guiding device is firmly connected with the carrier pipe.
