The bar (10) has a base plate, a hood and a set of optical and/or acoustic signaling devices. A clamping device fastens the base plate to a roof railing of an emergency vehicle in a form-fit and force-fit manner. The clamping device has a clamping jaw (18) with a passage borehole for a threaded section and a stop for a head of a fastening screw that is screwed into the base plate, where the jaw is turned to left or right vehicle sides in a mounting condition. The clamping device has another clamping jaw with a passage borehole for the threaded section of the fastening screw.
