The device has coupling parts equipped with an actuator (2). A rotary latch or a closing lever are moved when the coupling parts are form-compatible and brought into a position compatible for operating the clutch, in a force-free manner. A signal is triggered by a sensor over a storage position. The sensor sets the actuator in movement. The coupling parts are connected at an end position in a form-fit and force-fit manner. The form-fit connection of the coupling parts are active mechanically or electrically loosened by the actuator.
