The adapter has an arbor (3) adapted to retention holes at a component (7) and fastened to a hemisphere (2). The hemisphere is movably supported in a sphere retainer (1), where a center point of a cut surface of the hemisphere defines a measuring point. The arbor is interchangeably mounted in a bush (4) in the hemisphere, where the arbor, the sphere retainer and the hemisphere are made of stainless steel. A contact surface for the component is equipped with magnets. A sphere is connected with the hemisphere over a cylindrical connecting bar made of carbon.
