The valve has two control pistons (17) arranged in a valve housing (16) on both sides of a pump connection (P) for connecting respective load connections (A, B) with the pump connection or a tank connection (T), where the control pistons are independently movable to each other. A hydraulic pre-controller (25) is coupled with a displacement transducer (29) i.e. linear variable displacement transducer, where the displacement transducer and the hydraulic pre-controller are assigned to the respective control pistons.
