The gear (1) has six cam groups (5-10) slidable in a longitudinal direction of a bottom cam shaft (3), including two respective different cam paths (18, 19), and formed on a single cam support (4). The support is axially slidable on the shaft. The groups include a parallely displaced vertex for a gas exchange valve in a circumferential direction of the shaft. The vertex of the paths of the groups (7, 8) of the valve of a middle cylinder includes an angular distance of about 50 to 70 degrees from the vertex of the paths of the groups (5, 6, 9, 10) of the valve of an outer cylinder.
