The arrangement has a signal line formed as a control connection attached to a bus coupling with a monitoring contact (62) that is arranged at a socket (14). The monitoring contact is actuated with mechanical control, which is effectively connected with a gearshift lever shaft (30) of a multi-polar electric circuit breaker (10) and is movable with the gearshift lever shaft. An on-position of the gearshift lever shaft is transmittable on to the monitoring contact of the signal line, in all positions of a carrier between operating and test positions.
