The device has fastening units provided at one of side walls of an upward open container. The fastening units are designed in such a manner that the container is detachably fixed adjacent to a side of a seat surface of a seat and objects are not arrived in an intersection between the seat surface and the container. The intersection is formed by the fastening units and extends over 65 to 80 percentages of the side of the seat surface. The fastening units are designed, such that the device between the seat and a wall running adjacent to the seat is wedged.
