The storage i.e. battery (1), has a limiting wall (16) that is designed as a double wall (17) and provided for surrounding the storage. The double wall has an inner wall (19) that is designed in an elastic manner and an outer wall (20) that is designed in a rigid manner. The inner and outer walls are arranged at a distance from each other and form a reactor core (21), and a medium e.g. polyamide or polyethylene, is provided in the reactor core. A sensor (23) is provided for monitoring the medium and/or double wall and displays a measuring result in a display (24).
