The device (4) has a storage unit (20) placed inside a sealing wall that is fixed to a vehicle by flexible lower supports (26) and side springs (28). The storage unit comprises another sealing wall that surrounds the former sealing wall and fixed to the vehicle. The lower supports and the side springs are arranged between the two sealing walls, where an inner volume (24) between the two sealing walls receives a coolant. The lower supports are arranged under the storage unit. The device exhibits a cylindrical form and placed along a horizontal axis. An independent claim is also included for a hybrid vehicle.
