The device has a light source for providing a measuring light radiation (17), and a measuring system (16) comprising a charge coupled device-camera. A cone mirror (18) comprising a reflector e.g. stepped reflector, is designed for guiding the measuring light radiation to an inner surface of a hole, for receiving the reflected light radiation from the inner surface and guiding the reflected radiation to the measuring system. The reflector has measuring surfaces that are inclined at its axis and provided for reflecting the measuring light radiation.
