The door closer (2) has a housing comprising a passage hole (2d) for a door closer shaft or a bolt (5) of an operating arm (4). The housing is fastened to an end of the door closer shaft of the operating arm. A cover part (7) e.g. perforated disk, encompassing the door closer shaft lies or rests in or on the passage hole. The bolt of the operating arm is slid on the end of the door closer shaft formed as a hexagon head. The cover part is made of plastic and is fastened to the bolt of the operating arm in a press-fit manner.
