The milling tool i.e. face-milling cutter (1), has a rotationally symmetrical tool base body (2), and bag-like recesses arranged at circumference of the base body and attached to the base body. Cutting bodies (6) are inserted into the recesses and project radially and axially at the base body, and are held by a clamping element (7) i.e. clamping jaw. A chip guiding chamber (11) is integrated with external circumference of the clamping element, and comprises a chip guiding surface for controlled transportation of chips away from a work piece surface (10) to be processed.
