The device has an accumulator packet for power supply of an electrical load, and a receiving compartment (7) arranged in a housing lower part (1) and covered by a cover part. A switch is arranged at the accumulator packet. An adjusting device is arranged at the cover part and comprises an actuating part. A transmission part of the adjusting device is designed such that the transmission part automatically transfers the switch into the switching position when fitting the cover parts on the compartment, where the switching position corresponds to an actuation position of the actuating part.
