The battery has a cooling plate connected with a battery cell (1) e.g. flat lithium-ion cell, over heat conducting elements (2) in heat conductive manner. The heat conducting elements include heat transfer surfaces (A1, A2) depending on a position in a cell connection and/or heat transfer coefficients to the battery cells and/or the cooling plate such that inner temperatures of the battery cells are approximately same under operating conditions provided for the battery. A thickness (b) of the heat conducting elements depends on the position in the cell connection.
