The battery has a battery housing and a heat-conducting plate (2) for controlling temperature of the battery. A set of individual cells (3) is interconnected in parallel and/or series, where the individual cells are connected with the heat-conducting plate in a heat conducting manner. A heat conducting molded body (4) is arranged between the individual cells and the heat-conducting plate. A set of distance elements (9) is arranged between the molded body and the individual cells and/or between the molded body and the heat-conducting plate.
