The tailpipe cover (10) is fixed on a rear component of a vehicle. A wall (14) is provided with an opening (16), where an ambient air (20) of an exhaust section (18) is guided. The tailpipe cover has a constricted area in a cross section, where the opening is arranged in the wall downstream to the constricted area. The tailpipe cover is formed partially by steel. An independent claim is included for a tailpipe cover arrangement.
