The system has a monitoring device (30) with an exception processing unit (31) that processes exceptions in real time by comparing data relative to planning of the remote operations stored in a database (20) and operation data (37) e.g. executed operation time data, relative to executed remote operations transmitted by the interveners. The processing unit has an exception detecting unit (310) for detecting the exceptions, and an alert generating unit (311) for generating the alerts e.g. non-executed planned operation alert, according to the detected exceptions. An independent claim is also included for a method for actively controlling and monitoring remote operation of a home-assistance service performed by intervener near the recipient, through the communication with a data base.
