The device has a sun gear (2), a planet gear (3) and a planet carrier (4) that transmit torque delivered by a motor (1) e.g. electric motor, to a lever (5), a ratchet (6) and a bolt (7) of an automatically controlled lock. The gears and the carrier form a gear motor system i.e. planetary gearset, for reducing the transmitted torque. A calibrated blocking unit i.e. spiral spring, blocks the gear motor system along a threshold torque value such that the torque transmitted by the system is not reduced, while the torque is not exceeding the threshold torque value.
