摘要

The system has a master cylinder transforming a brake pedal support into pressure transmitted to a motorized brake element (5.1). The element has a hydraulic unit constituted of a body (15) and a hollow hydraulic piston (19) that is installed inside a hydraulic chamber (17), for transforming hydraulic pressure into a braking torque of wheels of a motor vehicle. The element has an irreversible electric piston system (22) that creates, increases or decreases the braking torque of each wheel independent of an action on a brake pedal, irrespective of a displacement speed of the vehicle. An independent claim is also included for a method for using a braking system.
